Honor the Class is a photo album for a school class. Parents add photos they took at school events; the room parent sends each occasion as a slideshow to the class's families. This page says what we keep, who can see it, and how to remove it. It is written for parents and principals, in plain words.

The short version

What we keep

We do not ask for, and do not keep, accounts, passwords, phone numbers, home addresses or birthdays.

Children

Honor the Class is used by parents and school staff, not by children. Children do not sign up or post. Photos of children are added by their parents or by other parents and staff at school events. If you are a parent and want your child left out of every photo, ask your room parent to mark them "never show", or write to us at [privacy@honortheclass.com] and we will do it. [Lawyer to confirm the COPPA position for a service used by parents and schools.]

Who can see what

How long we keep it, and how to remove it

Who helps us run it

We use a small number of service providers to store and deliver the album: [Supabase] for the database and photo storage, [Netlify] to serve the site, [Resend] to send email, and [Stripe] to take payment. They process information only to provide their service to us.
